    a) Bharat Electronics Secures Rs 850 Crore Deal for Indigenous Radar Systems

    Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has secured a significant order worth Rs 850 crore from Cochin Shipyard for the supply of an indigenous Multi-Function Radar in the X Band. Developed by DRDO and manufactured by BEL, this fully indigenous radar system is designed to detect, acquire, and track airborne targets, providing enhanced protection for naval ships. The deal underscores India’s growing capabilities in defense technology and the continued collaboration between the defense sector and public enterprises.

    b) Paras Technologies Bags Rs 305 Crore Order from L&T for Electro-Optical Systems

    Paras Technologies, an associate company of Paras Defence and Space Technologies, has received an order from Larsen and Toubro (L&T) worth approximately Rs 305 crore for the manufacture and supply of 244 Sight-25HD EO (Electro-Optics) Systems. The order also includes an extended warranty and an integrated logistics support package for L&T’s Close-In Weapon System (CIWS) program. This marks a significant step for Paras Technologies in the defense sector, highlighting its expertise in high-tech systems for defense applications.
